So many problems with them. Remember, you’re using a middleman. They’re usually can’t do nothing or are not responsible for anything. E.g. they messed up with my passport issuing county (put US as default, and mine is a different one). Then I couldn’t checkin because of this problem, and they told me „sorry, it’s on me, call the airlines”. Mamy problems before. Almost every time there’s something wrong.
I have just recently booked with kiwi, and found a charge for a cabin bag that I did not add to my tickets. This was a 300$ charge, i contacted them and they repeatedly ignored my answers and were indirect. I need help, this is suspicious. I dont know weather to trust or not anymore.
I paid $900 for a ticket and purschased Trip Disruption Protection. One of the legs of the trip was changed such that I could not make the flights and Kiwi sent an email saying I should pursue a refund as they would get my money back for the remaining amounts. I received $79, after which I emailed, called, texted and chatted with multiple agents. No change. Do NOT use this app

Don't trust. Kiwi makes it impossible to manage your own booking—flights are booked using their email, so airlines won’t let you cancel directly. I tried canceling within 24 hours for a full refund but had to go through Kiwi, who took days to respond and charged $62. I lost my refund because of their setup. Avoid. ----- UPDATE After over a month and reaching out again, Kiwi’s Customer Advocacy Team reached out and offered a $16 refund on my $300 flight and a small credit towards a future flight, which I appreciated. Still, the core issue remains: because Kiwi uses their own email to book flights, I couldn’t cancel directly with the airline. Without immediate support, I missed the 24-hour window for a full refund. Booking through Kiwi cost me both time and money.

They booked me a round trip flight and then wouldn’t give me the info for the flight back and wouldn’t return the money! Don’t use. Just book directly with the airline.
You’re at the mercy of the airline carriers whether they will cancel your flights. I had to pay extra fees and book an alternate flight to London because Frontier canceled my connecting flight 3 months in advance.
I made a flight reservation and received a notification stating, your payment has been received. No need to worry about your booking, it will be completed within the next 48 hours. I followed up after 72 hours I kept getting AI generated responses. I continued following up every other day and received the same AI response. Finally after 2 weeks I received a different response. My flight had been canceled!! There’s no reason it should take more than a few minutes to confirm a booking once payment has been received by Kiwi. This will definitely be the last time I book through this site!!
They will never let u make a change or cancel a trip you accidentally booked, or u need to edit your passport details. They claim they are funding and never do!
I cancelled a trip through them a month before the trip. Refund status took way too long and when I asked for status updates, generic answer. I booked same flights outside of Kiwi and know the cancellation policy with the airline does allow refund if you cancel BEFORE the flight. Despite cancelling early, kiwi.com did not actually cancel with the airline. So the flight was “missed” and no refund was issued. It’s a scam. Stick with booking.com or Expedia. Way better customer service there.
Do you have any issues? Good luck getting any help; there is no customer service. They have a link to “contact us”, but it doesn’t work. There’s no phone number, and you never get anywhere if you have any questions or need help.

I paid for a ticket protection for a flight with a connection, in case of the first trip got delayed. My first trip didn’t Fite get delayed and they told me that they would cover the trip with no cost. And then I received the bill for $700. I wrote them multiple times, and they never fixed it. I even showed then the email and message from customer service where they had told me that the ticket that I chose would be at no cost, and they simply did not care… horrible

Cannot sign in with the sign in link sent to my email. Clicking the link from iPhone mail app opens a webpage with another Open button. Clicking that button opens the App Store instead the already installed app.
Told me I was going to get a $15 discount for downloading the app. Spent 30 min of my life downloading and re-booking via the app. Never got the discount, instead got an error message that I couldn’t use the code because my booking was under $156. There was no fine print that said that before time.

I had a horrifying experience with Kiwi that I feel compelled to warn others about. I booked a flight for 4 people through their service, trusting that everything would go smoothly. However, just 12 hours before our flight, it was canceled without any prior warning or backup plan offered by Kiwi. As a result, I was forced to book a completely new flight at the last minute, which cost me double the original price. I contacted Kiwi for assistance and a refund since they were the ones who charged me in the first place. At first, they claimed they would handle the situation and assured me that they’d help. Two weeks later, they came back saying there would be no refund because I had “chosen” to book another flight. Are you serious? Of course I had to book another flight – they left me stranded with no alternative solution! This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Not only did they fail to provide proper service, but their response and refusal to issue a refund is absolutely disgraceful. Kiwi is unreliable, dismissive, and, frankly, a company that doesn’t value its customers. I will never use Kiwi again, and I strongly recommend avoiding them if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. Stay far away!
Beware of this company , even if you cancel within 2 hrs of booking. You will not receive even a partial refund even though the airline that was booked allows it . Also they will take you money and not get you a ticket . Waitied 3 hrs to be told I did not actually have a seat even though you were told don’t worry you will have a seat . ( ended waiting 6hrs for the next flight .)You think you would be suppled something for the inconvenience, but no it’s not their fault . Truly disappointed in the customer service.
Before I pay ur website didn’t tell me it s foreign company. Bank charge me 3% foreign transaction fee. It’s extremely unethical and unprofessional. I have contacted u multiple times . U didn’t do anything saying u can’t do anything. U said u can’t refund my foreign transaction fee. So I don’t want to waste more time

Miserable experience, the app is an absolute mess and the whole operation is a scam. I will never use Kiwi again. I PAID EXTRA to purchase a very expensive "flexi" ticket on this app and changed it ONCE ... only to have my right to a refund or credit revoked!!! (they're only offering me a $10 refund on my $1000 ticket!!!!) The app did not make it clear that this would happen if i changed the itinerary. Also, I paid for "premium services" which claimed to allow me to more quickly contact customer service, but instead, I cannot speak to a human. I ran into a glitchy loop when I tried to message the customer help desk, where they erroneously claim that I "had already contacted them about this issue" and sent me to a page that was empty.
This service is a ripoff. They charged my $180 for an extra checked bag (one leg), when the airline only charges $30. Also, the app is useless, since you need to go directly to the airline to check-in, get boarding passes, etc.

Kiwi.com is NOT safe and legit! I paid for flight protection through them, which advertised that the flight protection included missed connections due to delays. They did not uphold that promise at all. My first flight was delayed which made me miss my connecting flights. I've reached out to them multiple times and they refuse to uphold their agreement and won't give me a single cent back for the missed flights. The logistical challenges were even worse. I had 20 min to catch my connecting flight, (originally without the delay, it would have been 30 min.) Transferring terminals required a 10-minute *run* through the first terminal, followed by a 10-minute shuttle ride to the connecting terminal. This significant distance made it physically unfeasible for me to check in on time, I likely wouldn't have even made it even if my original flight wasn't delayed. Kiwi.com fails to consider these logistical realities, breaking the basic trust of *physical possibility* customers place in their service. Missing these flights led to unexpected expenses, including a costly hotel stay, taxi rides, and expensive replacement flights to my original destination. Kiwi.com's lack of accountability for their false advertising and the sheer hassle of trying to resolve the situation has made it clear I will never use their services again. Their failure to provide even the most basic support or uphold their agreements is appalling. I would strongly advise others to avoid Kiwi.com!
Kiwi recommend to book a flight to Istanbul as a hidden city, airline did not allow as Booking destination was a hidden city and final destination was Luxembourg. Horrible experience.
All my bookings keep getting cancelled after accepting payment
Very bad experience with this app. I booked a very cheap flight over 2 stops - great! But at the airport wasn't allowed on the plane because India doesn't allow transit without visa. I had to book an alternative flight at the airport. That's a 100% fail on the first and second leg. The third leg was changed forward by the airline so we were unable to make it. Normally in such a case the airline will provide another flight. But I couldn't contact them - kiwi.com had to contact them on my behalf. Their helpful solution was for me to buy a brand new ticket. So I had to buy the entire trip again. No refund. Blame shifting between airlines and kiwi.com and a customer service AI providing no help. Never using this service again.
They canceled my flight, not once but twice. And I have to pay for the alternatives. While Kiwi as agent, they receive the refund from airlines but they’re not passing this to passengers. When I contact their customer service, the first guy promised me to send refund, and then the second person refused to obey whatever the first person said. Stay away from this company and only if you wanna to to pay extra while your intention is to save.

Almost every time I've flown with Kiwi, there is some miscommunication or error in the booking. And Kiwi takes very little responsibility for it, even if it's something you've paid for. Best to verify EVERYTHING with the airline when you check in. And book with a credit card that allows you to report if Kiwi doesn't fulfill their end of the agreement.
Every time i go on the app it does not show anything or any link in help and support section to contact an agent. Its funny even on the website it shows nothing. I need resolution for a claim case and this is quite annoying. I booked a ticket for 750 dollars and i emailed the kiwi.com with a payment proof and they denied that they have not received anything. Later after a month my bank contacted them and they said a ticket was booked and they also got the payment from my bank. Two different statements. Now i am in loss of 750 dollars and if i want to contact an agent then it shows nothing in the app in apple devices or website in all browsers. Please fix the issue with the link to talk to an agent or send the link here.

Eu needs to invastigate this side for froud never ever again my flight we booked together with my gf totally we confirmed date 2 time showed up instead of December 27 January 24 which we searched week ago .. we tryed to tell them they send email saying no refundable ! We will call file a complaint with EU comission as well
I was forced into this app from another website. It told me I needed to give them I’d number and expiration but it would not let me input the information. It deleted my info every time I hit submit. Nonfunctional app with no way to contact support.
