I can just recommend this app. Its ideal for traveling to find the best prices and options for flights. Great overview on specific flights for different days. The best thing, a map can visually show good options to fly next to. So its easy to find your next destination based on good flight prices. And it really finds the best deals and a full range of airplane companies. Its fast too!!
To me the best app to find flights. I often check a few of them but Kiwis search tools are the most efficient in my opinion, and I always end up booking my tickets from here. Plus, no hidden costs. I definitely recommend it!
This app is so simple to use. I had my flight search results returned in a mtter of seconds and the filter and sort otions are very intuitive. Very useful, I can dinf the cheapest tickets always
Ive used this across find US, Ecuador, Honduras, Romania, Uruguay and it is impressive. It uses algorithms to put together multiple flights based on your selection.

Some bad moments

I was charged additional fees at the airport when checking in for my flights booked through Kiwi. They claim to have never received data that I entered on their website, odd because they got my credit card number ok. Do not use this app or service. Try kayak or book directly with the airlines.
As with the other review here I was charged with additional unexpected baggage fees at the airport by the airline on every single leg of my trip. I had paid for 15 kg and my bag was 12 kg but was told that I had to pay for 5 more kg each time I tried to get my ticket for some reason. Each time I was told by the airline that even though I didnt need the extra weight, I basically had to pay for this fee or I would not get my ticket but I could easily get a refund. So with little choice I did. After my trip, I tried to get the refund with the airline and they said to contact kiwi. I contacted kiwi, they said it was for the 15 kg and not extra weight which was untrue because the airline clearly said it was an extra 5 kg charge and my receipt reflected that as well. As the other reviewer said, might want to look elsewhere, Ill never use this again.
Five star idea with two star execution. I cant believe there arent any other "roll your own" flight finders out there that happily find connections outside airline partnership agreements. This is really handy for traveling between smaller cities that arent serviced by the big airlines. But the folks at Kiwi are playing fast and loose with the data. Heres a few examples: 1) The app thinks BVT airport is in Burlington Iowa when its actually in Burlington Vermont. (all cities in the app are identified by just the name and no state, so this could happen often and nobody would know unless you looked up the airport code somewhere else!) 2) The app identifies an airport as being in Kansas (KCK) when actually that airport is somewhere in Russia (!!!) 3) When you try to book, you can tell the app how many bags youll bring and they conveniently update the fare to include baggage fees...but those fees are different from the pricing provided directly by the airline ($27.50 instead of $25 for 1st bag with American Airlines) 4) Often a message pops up during booking saying that the airline (which one...who knows) has "just" raised the price, often by $90 or more and you are allowed to continue booking at the newly specified price or start a new search. 5) No place to enter frequent flyer card numbers. So I am a little sad with the overall experience but I hope they will continue to improve the service.
Very disappointed in the lack of notification and customer service I have received on my first booking with Kiwi. I paid for baggage, yet was not alerted that baggage could not be paid for online for American Airlines domestic flights until the next day, when my card had already been charged by Kiwi who knew of the error and inconvenience this would cause. I now have to pay for my baggage at the airport upfront (which I have already paid for online via Kiwi) and have been offered to be reimbursed "potentially, after investigation and submission of baggage receipts". I spent an hour on the phone talking to 3 different people, the second a female by whom I was interrupted constantly. I really wanted to like Kiwi - as it seemed very simple and user friendly - but after this experience I am really left with a bad taste in my mouth. Find another booking agent (i.e. Student Universe) and youll save yourself a lot of headache.
I loved this app when it was skypicker. Now when I try to use the app it says they changed their name to kiwi.com, but stays on that screen. Ive given it plenty of time to load, but the app will only open to one screen and wont go any further. If its fixed please let me know, I loved it when it was working.
I found really inexpensive tickets and each layover I had to go to baggage claim and recollect my bags and check them back in for each flight even if it was the same flight. I was also told by a spirit rep to never use this party because they make you pay for each bag each time. If you call there customer service there is a language barrier and we didnt get anywhere fast. I typically dont leave reviews but seriously I would hate for someone to go through what I went through the airport experience with his company was beyond ridiculous. Use another company do yourself a favor!!!!!
